Critter Call App Reviews

Some of the sounds have some background noise from when they were recorded but its not bad. Some calls are clearly a person just using a call device but overall Id say its a good app. Lot of calls, good variety. Ill take this hunting with me next time.

The calls sound very vealistic and we got a huge laugh out of the Sasquatch call. Buy it!

I got this on my I touch and it is awsome the calls are good but one sounds like a recording,but over all I give it a 4 out of 5.

This app is great.The sounds and track shapes are spot on.It can be used to learn the sounds and track shapes of many popular game animals.So useful and informative.Great app,great content,and great price.BUY THIS APP!

I can see the developer of this app has an interest in hunting and the outdoors and I have to say this is a great idea for an app so well done there. I confess I am a bit disappointed in the quality of the audio. The sounds are quite good in their own right, but the recording quality is spotty at best. During playback there is, in many if not most cases, background hiss and the sound I am supposed to be hearing is too muffled in several. I love the inclusion of Bigfoot. :) a cheeky bit of humor that puts me to liking this developers style. I would enjoy seeing this app grow in its ability to teach as well. Give us a little more expansion on those great tracks (nice touch making them the audio sliders btw). Perhaps tapping on the icon of each animal could activate a flip page that includes a nice representation (photo or illustration) of the critter and some text about their behavior and habitat, possibly their range, that sort of thing. Im not a bit sorry I bought this app and good for you guys for making it. I will happily add stars for better audio quality and expanded teaching about these great creatures we tromp around the woods with. ;) I tell you what, you get this thing polished up and youve got a five star treasure on your hands. TTYL good people.

Great app, the sounds are great, and they are awesome not only for learning the calls, but also to play over speakers while hunting, I played the distressed rabbit call while coyote hunting and had a total of 6 coyotes respond to the call, awesome job

This is a very nice critter call pogram and is very nice to have if you have kids and want them (and or your self) to be able to Id what they are hearing in the wild...Only one problem...the Mallard Hen has the Drake call associated with it and the two Mallard Duck sounds are the Hen...Dont really know about Bigfoot though..LOL I do live in Washington State and who know if I ever hear that sound I am outa here...LOL

My only complaint is about the audio. Some calls are to muffled, making some of them less high pitched. The rabbit distress calls should be higher pitched. As the other reviewers have said, I would like to see more info with the calls. Differently worth the dollar I spent.

Not bad most of the calls are done with actual storebought calls & whoever is running the calls isnt the best in the west , some of the turkey calls sound like sick turkys

Would be better if had some calls for hogs. They are hard to find for an app sounds.

My 6 year old grand daughter mimics animals better than this app.Dont waste your money!!!!!!! itunes should have a way to return apps, or check them out before they sell them .

No sounds would even play for me, huge waste

Sound does NOT work, no audio, very disappointing, is there a fix?

So far I like this app. I do wish there were more of the sounds certain animals make AND they had a Mountain Lion in the predator list. Maybe changes will come with an update?....Fingers crossed....
